Every page should have a mission.
A lot of talk this past week about a Google engineer claiming that one of their chatbots has become sentient. It's intersting, but I think for something to become conscious, it seems like a nervous system would have to be involved. They have to genuinely feel something (pain, disocmofort, etc...) -- and I guess there are two types of feeling that we have -- emotional and physical, but perhaps emotional is tied to the physical (or perhaps some of the same chemicals that get triggered when we feel either are the same), so maybe emotional feeling could rise as a result of physical feeling. Until there is a way to process feeling on some level, I kind of doubt that any synthetic entity is truly conscious.

A lot of the time, constistantly maintainable is better than optimal.
Project Idea: A collection of all of my city, state, and federal representative's tweets, blog articles, voting records, e-newsletters, etc... all in one place.
Someday I will hopefully own a piece of property where I'll be able to fully appreciate the Golden Hour.

Moved my lifting days to Fri, Sun, and Tues. I'm really liking the Sunday lift -- I do a few more lifts, and take it a little slower. During the weekdays I feel quite a bit more rushed. Today as I'm working out, it's pretty nice -- lifting more, but it feels more relaxed.

I really kind of want to do the PCT between Redding and Ashland again. I remember some very beautiful places, but I'm also beginning to forget some of that stretch. Looking it over on topos looks really intersesting. I need to explore that area more.

The ability to search for text across all artboards in Affinity Designer would be a welcome addition. As a moderately quick workaround, perhaps it works to export as a pdf and search that?
