This Week’s Noted Songs

Whenever a song that I like comes on, I always write it down, whether I know it well or is new to me. Here’s a few I wrote down this week:

The Vaccines – Love To Walk Away
There are a few songs by The Vaccines that keep coming up in my list. I think this is my current favorite.

Lostboy – Overdue
Love the line: “I’ll be myself and you’ll be magic”

Manchester Orchestra – The Silence
From one of my favorite bands, this song is absolute perfection. I’m a sucker for any song that slowly builds from a soft, slow beginning, but by the end I have my headphones cranked up and I’m no longer doing whatever I was supposed to be doing.

Monster Florence – White Noise
I like this guy’s distinctive voice, and you have to love a song with an “oi, oi, oi” in it.
