Blog Opti Finding Duplicate Page Titles on a Website

Finding Duplicate Page Titles on a Website

By Forrest Smith - Drempd.com

Opti is still in a pretty rough form, but it has become increasingly beneficial for my various website builds. The latest website check looks for any page titles that are duplicated throughout a website (duplicate titles are bad for SEO and users alike). This update has already paid dividends. On a site that I manage, I noticed that many of the pages are lacking a unique page title, which was an un-noticed issue related to how those pages are generated. Running the site through Opti made this bug clear, which I was able to address fairly quickly once it became evident.

I love to create and explore. Whether building a website or app, taking a long walk through the mountains, or playing with a random idea, I've found that there will never be enough time to experience it all. But that won't stop me from trying.
