Zion Dinner
By Forrest Smith - Drempd.com
On the day we arrived within the vicinity of Zion, I was on a search. It was a search for a spot that didn’t have other people, but which had good views. It was also important for those views to be looking towards the east, where the evening light would give the red cliffs and peaks a beautiful golden hour glow.
This was a first attempt at creating great dinner moments in beautiful places, an activity that I would like to pursue more.
We found the perfect perch, overlooking Zion’s jumbled cliffs. I had timed our dinner well—the golden hour light was spilling across the rocks, making them glow. As we ate our pizza, we watched paragliders circle and weave through the sky.
