UX & Web Design #3 – Locations Map, Release Listing

By Forrest Smith - Drempd.com

I’ve been doing loads of coding over the past several weeks, but slowly getting back into some website design and user interface projects. It’s always nice to get back into design work, and it looks like for the next several weeks at least, I’ll have a nice assortment of projects to play with.

A Global Presence

Part of a larger home page design, just one of the sections to help build trust, and show the weight and power of this company, which has offices pretty much all over the world. It’s still very much in progress, but I was having fun playing with the heading and intro text. And I’m always a sucker for a map. They just add so much life to the page. This probably has a few iterations to go, but definitely liking where this is headed.

Application Release Notes Page

It seemed like a good idea to build out a release notes page for Zindash (my notes/list/scheduling app). Yes, this is pretty simple, perhaps overly so, but I just actually really like the cleanliness of it, and the build was super-easy, I just utilized my “timeline” module which I’ve updated over the years to provide a nice little visual timeline.

I am liking this page so much, it’s definitely inspired me to keep pushing enhancements and changes to Zindash, just so I can add more to this page.
