Blog Website Design Resources Landing Page for Bioscience Company

Resources Landing Page for Bioscience Company

By Forrest Smith - Drempd.com

After building out a robust resources section to store and organize a biotech company’s ever-growing selection of materials, we needed a main landing page to highlight their most popular resources and direct visitors to relevant sections.

Popular Resources

The popular resources section at the top of the page highlights content that the administrators consider most important. It’s fairly utilitarian for now, and we anticipate revisiting this section in the future to explore more engaging design updates.

Customer Datasets Section

The customer datasets, which features data uncovered by customers using the company’s cutting-edge technology, provided an opportunity to add design interest to the page. Each dataset includes customer testimonials that we wanted to highlight. We chose to highlight these testimonials boldly, with a full gradient background which gives the testimonial significant weight on the page, along with a great splash of color and interest. The design worked so well that we started to use the same style for testimonials throughout the website.

Upcoming Events Section

Although not originally part of the page plan, we proposed adding an upcoming events section to highlight opportunities relevant to visitors exploring the resources. This not only delivers valuable information but also introduced additional design opportunities. Through carefully chosen imagery, we were able to bring a softer, more people-focused feel to the page, and the inclusion of custom icons added extra visual interest.

Page Generation

Ongoing administration for the resources landing page is minimal, as most content is automatically pulled in as resources are added elsewhere on the site. Administrators retain control over small text elements, section titles, and can manually curate which posts appear in the popular resources section.

The resources landing page successfully balances functionality with engaging design, creating a dynamic and easily maintainable gateway to the company’s growing library of content. By combining practical elements like automated content updates with thoughtfully designed visual sections, the page manages to stay fresh, informative, and visually appealing without requiring heavy administrative upkeep. As the resources library continues to grow, the page is positioned to adapt seamlessly, supporting both user needs and future marketing goals.
